"You mean... you're going to kick her out?" He asked, still bewildered by the news.
"Yes. She's a mess and a trouble maker." The elder man said as he watered his plants in the garden.
"But... it's ridiculous! She..." He was cut short when the elder stared at him.
"I already gave her a warning. If she doesn't leave by the end of this week, I'll call the police." The elder said with such calm.
"Hey..." He stood at the doorway while the girl inside the tiny room was packing her things.
"Hi... Anything...?" She smiled, yet how she greeted him sounded sad.
"N... Nothing... So, you're leaving?"
She nodded.
"Do you need any help?" He asked while wondering if he could do anything at all now.
"I guess so..." She hesitated.
Immediately after she said, he walked into her room, helping her to pack up her books that were on the shelves. The two arranged the things into boxes, it was quiet.
It took an hour or so to finish packing.
"Thank you." She said.
"You're welcome..." He said while wondering where she was going to go.
"So... this is goodbye." She smiled and shook his hand.
"Good...bye."
