It's 2009......
January......
It's about 3 weeks of schooling and a lot has happened.
I was already going nuts even on the first week as I thought 2 weeks had gone by. The homework, were piled up hour by hour. During the assembly, the teacher even said they're starting a system called e-discipline, that means we have 100 points, every rule we break, we get "demerit". Using this system, our teachers are "threatening" us to finish our homework, or else......
In this month, there is also a training session for the athletes as they will be competing in February the 7th. All students must attend to "gain marks" for their own team. Well, as I have not one active cell in my body, I attended this activity just to spend time with my friends.
On the 21st and 22nd of this month, there is an event called "Sukantara". This is connected to the Sports Day in our school. During this event, every student has a chance to gain points for their teams by participating in every game. By passing the minimum level, each student gets to earn 1 point. Passing the tough level, the student earns 2 points. After these 2 days, the points of each team is added up. The team with the highest points has a better shot at getting victory during the Sports Day. For now, the leading team is green team with a score of 1125, followed by red team with a score of 1123. The third place is tied with yellow team and blue team with 1100 points. The scores comparing to last years is about +200 points, i guess the first years should be thanked for their effort.
23rd of this month is also the day of "Marathon". This event is where all students from morning session and afternoon session gather to "run" around the whole neighbourhood. In the morning, the students assemble at the field to do warm up, with a few students on the stage, nearly the whole school is doing the warm up with a very hype up song. Later, we are all off to the starting point. The horn was sounded and off we go, group by group, everyone was on the same path, either walking, jogging or for the ones thirsting for the trophy, running at their maximum speed.My friends and I finished the 5 km "run" (walk) in about 1 hour. After every student was at the school field, the price giving ceremony started. In every category, there are 10 winners. For every name mentioned, screams, cheers, claps and boos were heard. The overall winner was the blue team, and on every face was a surprise look, as it just felt impossible. A funny ending of the day for me......
It's going to be Chinese New Year, with tons of homework lining up for me. After the grueling week of sports, I have no idea on trying to finish my homework. This week, I'm going to relax and go online for hard music (not all of 'em). Then, I'm gonna find a way to do me homework......
