A Gathering

On the 8th of November, my friend, Kim held a BBQ/steamboat party at her house. It was a gathering for all of us to have fun after a whole hectic year. Out of 10 guests, 5 of us was to meet Kim at a shopping center at 11am. After wandering in the shopping center for about 2 hours, we were suppose to wait for Kim's mum to fetch us home. But, she had to work and we were tired of waiting so we decided to walk back to Kim's house.

While walking home, we encountered a few "dangerous" moments. The streets were quite wide and there were many cars. We crossed the roads with poor Kim being scolded by us (because she said it was a short distance but we felt that it was a longer one).

We took about 10-15 minutes to reach Kim's house. I was really amazed by the look of the house. It was very beautiful with a large compound. We took a rest in Kim's room(which is filled with wallpapers) and have our lunch. After that, we started to prepare the things for the party. We made biscuits, prepare the food(chicken, fish, prawns...) for the night, wash the floor(so that we don't need to wear shoes).

At about 5/6 pm, the rest of the gang came. There were a lot more people helping and soon, the party started. There were a variety of choices on the table. One of my friends got a little bit crazy over Kim's brother and kept calling him hubby. It was a real life drama, all of us laughed like wild. :) She kept going near him, on the contrary, he kept avoiding her. Kim kept saying that she can never accept a sister-in-law like her......She said she would go crazy and maybe one day is going to hold a knife...... :)

When we were quite full, a few of us went to the park nearby. We walked and watched a few kids playing basketball. A friend of mine kept mumbling "you'll never get the ball into the net......" (as she herself can't do it the first time). But the kids did get a few hoops. :) The girl that called Kim's brother hubby came riding a bicycle. The tires need to be pumped so she went back. We waited for a long time but she didn't turn up, so we went back. We laugh our heads out when we found out the reason. She was calling her "hubby" to follow her to the park but he didn't want to go.(Before that she called him to help her to pump the tires.)

After tidying up, we went back at about 11pm. We were quite fed up when going back home as the traffic lights were always red and we need to wait......

Overall, it was a fun day, even though my legs hurt from walking...... I had fun spending time with my friends......wish that we could do a second time...... :)

Why So Troublesome

After the government exam finished, we have about 2 months to enjoy our freedom. Many call it "honeymoon" time (because after these 2 months, we'll be going to Form 4, after that Form 5 and on and on......
And after schooling, we need to find a job...... this is what I've heard of). In these 2 months, I was also told to find a tuition teacher for next year. But, I just don't feel right when I heard that many places leak out the papers, this way, the students will get top scores......
I really hate to find a tuition teacher by myself...... get the address, the phone number, transport, the teacher, the schedule......
If the schedule doesn't match, or no transport, it's like going back to square one......
Sometimes...... it feels like a waste of time because nothing was actually done......
But...... if we've found the right one, it will be worth it......
Hope that I can find a tuition teacher soon......and get over with it............

I Never Thought That It Was Like This

The government exam is finished, and we have our freedom.
My friends and I were bored and we helped to pack the books for next year.
We need to take out the exercise books from the boxes and repack them into smaller packs.
This took about 4 days.
After packing the small exercise book, we started on the test pads (used for exams) and notebooks, which were used for science, history, geography and KH (something like life skills).
The notebooks were quite heavy but, compare to the test pads, they were a lot lighter.
The test pads were on the topmost of the shelf, it was like 9 to 10 feet high!
My friend was to climb up using a ladder and pass me the test pads. (cause I got a bit of a phobia of height, especially on ladders)
When the first package was passed down, I took it and was shocked that it weighted tons more than the other packages, even it was the same size as the other books.
I actually nearly dropped the whole package.
As I was a careless person, I kinda hurt my fingers too......ouch......so painful... :)
But, at least I can spend time with my friends...... :)

Finally

After a long and hectic year, my friends and I finally finish the government exam.
The exam took five days. It's kinda weird, cause we actually chat while studying.
I'm not going to bother about the exam, cause what has happen has already happen and we can only learn from the past.
I need to be ready for the next year, but...... for now, I'm going to enjoy myself by spending time with my friends and reading story books.
Perhaps play scrabble or just sing and sing until......
Finally, sweet freedom......

Really Frustrating

2006- starting to learn 12 totally new subjects
2007- conflicts between friends
2008- unstable change of luck
- we were suppose to do our history folio
- when we finished our folio, our teacher said the format is changed, so we need to redo the folio.
- I've wasted about 120 pages of papers just for this folio.
- just when we finished it again, the teacher marked it and gave us A-B standard mark. But, the
officers who were checking our folio gave us D-E mark. The folio was called trash!

May-June Holiday 2008 (disappointing)

Holiday is suppose to be either relaxing, exciting, fun, spending time with your family and friends......

But it's just not for me this year......
The school gave too much work and it's just frustrating......
There's the oral test in Malay and English, the project for history and geography, the 3 essays in Malay, the 3 essays in Chinese, the holiday worksheet......

I don't want to finish them or even see them......
They should be hand in after the holidays.......
I don't want to disappoint my parents or my teachers
but......this is too much for me

It may be very easy for a lot of people, but for me, I can't take it......
I can't runaway from it, it doesn't solve the problem, but worsens it......
I guess this means that I am a very weak person that just can't make a real decision......

Muahahahaha......
