Finally, the last day of the week, also a time to take a breath from the school year examination. I gotta say, it's been really tough going through this week. So many things happened, well, that's what I think.
It is always tough for us to stuff all the things that we need to memorize, cracking our brain to fit those vocabularies, definitions, formulas, phrases... ... But this time, I think I was emotionally out of control! Not mentally, that one I can still control, but emotionally, no way. I was nearly mad! Two days before the exam, something happened in school and somehow, I cried. I don't know why, but I was teary then I just couldn't stop. It was so embarrassing! In front of my friends. Well, of course I got a small scolding. Hehe...
I think it got even worst the next day. I was at home and doing revision. Another thing happened and the tap water started to run again. This time it took me 30 minutes to calm myself down. Soon, I started to have weird thoughts, I'll say that no one should know what they are. It was like I was soulless! I was scared, every single minute was so dark. The other thing is that I just can't study, I know I'll be blamed because it was just me not wanting to motivate myself. But I just couldn't! I was going bazookas!
Let's just say that I opened the tap water nearly everyday of the week (Only for last week!). My eyes were always painful the next day, o silly me... ...
But from today, I think I can close the water tap.

...Finally I have achieved my greatest triumph
Hailey walked home with a bright smile. She just won herself a first place at a talent competition. She was going to tell her parents the very special news. But little did she know, that one news will change her peaceful 17 years forever.
"No, you will not waste your life on such a foolish thing as singing!" Hailey's father reprimanded her. "But, I know that singing is what I want to do, as my career, my life. I know you want me to be a doctor, but since the first time I sang in that competition, all I want to do in my life is sing!" said Hailey, hoping her father would understand. Yet her father refused to stand down, "if you want to sing, then don"t come home. You"ll learn that life is a lot more tougher outside this house, the real world."
Suddenly, Hailey ran in to her room. She took out the luggage and packed a few things. Also , she took her piggy bank. "I will do it dad, I will not come home, I will fulfill my dream. I"ll let you see that I am capable of becoming a singer in life,"she kept repeating. She carried her bag and walked into the living room. Hailey looked at her mother who was in tears , her father filled with rage and her innocent little brother. Without a word, she stepped out of the house into the dark, silent night.
She had no place to stay. It was already 11 o'clock at night, no one would want a doorbell ringing just when they're drifting into their dreams. She walked to a nearby bus station. Into a dark corridor she went, where smoke of a cigarette from a homeless man puffed. There were many beggars but she found a small corner to sleep for the night
"Girl... wake up...hurry up..."Hailey heard a voice, waking her up uncomfortable sleep. It was a cleaner from the bus station. "Sweetie, you better get away from here. This is not a place for you and the security guard will be chasing people," warned the cleaner while pushing a few bucks into Hailey's hand. Hailey thanked her and bid goodbye to the sweet old lady. She knew where to go next. She had to find a place to live first and knew where to look.
After an hour of walking and bus riding, Hailey stopped in front of a house. There was a board hanging on the gate, written "Rooms For Rent, call Mr. Shawn, o12-5335148". She didn't call anyone but knocked on the door. A voice answered from within the house, "come in." She went into the house and looked around. It was quite new, everything was clean and tidy. It was not what she had expected, especially from a man living alone. "From the looks of it, are you interested in renting a room?" the man called Shawn came out from the kitchen. Hailey answered, "yes, how much would I need to pay?" Shawn said it would cost 350 dollars per month. Hailey felt a little lucky because she had been saving for the past 2 years, her pocket money from the part time jobs.
The next day, Hailey rode a bus to the city center. She went straight to the place where she will be one step closer to fulfilling her dream. It was the XX Academy. This is the place that provides training and courses for people who have a talent in arts. She signed in and was accepted immediately as one of the trainers recognised her as the winner of the talent competition which was organised by the academy.
During her days in the academy, she learned many things, there were vocal trainings, dance classes, and even a course in financial management. But, a problem was coming up. The money she saved wasn't enough to cover the expenses on the course and the rent. So, she went and looked for a job as a part time cashier. It wasn't a pleasant job, standing for 6 hours with only a small pay. But she knew she had no other choice. It was enduring everything or accomplishing nothing.
Within a month, Hailey had gotten used to the hectic schedule, going for classes and working after that. By now, she was also feeling lonely too. Hailey missed her family, she had no one beside her, she was all by herself. Every night, she would hide in a corner inside her room and cry. She knew, she must not stop what she was doing, even when she was at her weakest moment. "I must not give up, never! " she repeated to herself.
"Hailey, you are ready," Elizabeth, Hailey's trainer told her. It was already 1 year and 3 months since Hailey walked into the academy. She shed into tears, after all the hardship, she is finally moving on with a big step. It was time for her to shine as a singer. A producer, a director, a composer, a choreographer, anyone you would need to make an album was called in. Hailey was to make an album of 10 songs. She was overjoyed, wanting to tell her father what she is going to do. But, she waited, "I must complete this task first, I am not done yet!"
Soon, the day came for Hailey to sing on stage, her first performance as a singer. By now, her album was selling at a very fast pace. Every person in the hall was anticipating, wanting to hear the voice that had touched their hearts. Hailey made sure the microphone was fine. Then, she went on stage. When she sang, only her voice was heard in the hall. The audience was quiet, mesmerised by the beautiful voice that echoed through their ears. Hailey looked into the audience and was surprised, but kept on singing. In the audience were the three faces that she missed for such a long time, the people that she cried for every night. It was her family. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she finished her song with "you are my only one and I love you" while looking at her family. Hailey went down the stage and ran into her father's arms. The father and daughter hugged and apologised to each other. "My daughter, please come home," said Hailey's father without letting her out of his arms. She hugged him tightly, saying "I will go home daddy." With a smile, she added, "daddy, finally, I have achieved my greatest triumph"

Second Day Of Holiday
Today......
I did nothing much...
Aunt Yong and her family, mmy sister, my mum went to the cinema to watch G-force. While they enjoy the popcorn, I stayed at home with dad.
Dad went out for breakfast and I had mine at home. Well, I got bored and pressed the remote controller to a channel that I might be interested to. And I turned to channel 8TV, what a shock I got when I recognized the setting... it was the show that I rarely get to see, now in front of me... was the encore of MNET MKMF from 2007. I had to do the laundry, but I also want to drunken myself with the performance...
Do you know what I did? The weirdest thing anyone could have done in that situation. I did the laundry when the host were talking or during commercial breaks. I was running here and there, carrying the bucket of clothes. If someone were to see me at that time, I swear that they'll be laughing their heads off!
I locked myself in the house the whole day...maybe boring to others.....but it's heaven to me...hehe...sometimes...

First Day Of Holiday
My family and I finally had a "normal" holiday. We planned the trip about 2 weeks earlier. We had received an invitation to my mum's colleague's' wedding on the 26th of September. So, we used it as a reason and extended that day to a whole week's trip.
We started our journey to Kuala Lumpur. It was about 8.00 in the morning. The weather was not too warm or too cloudy, just soothing like my dad's mood. ^^
We took a stop at Yong Peng at 9.20am. There was a shop that sells some kind of baked bread(?), but we call it "Doriyaki". My mom always try to take a chance to stop whenever we pass through that town. She went into the shop as we sat in the car, saliver dripping down from our lips, anticipating the tasty "Doriyaki". But...... to our dissapointment... mummy came back into the car empty-handed. She told us that there were many people wanting to buy, but the shop owner said that they have just started kneading the dough, and it needs to ferment too... that will take forever for us to wait. So... we return to the main road and continued our journey...
We arrived at Kuala Lumpur after 5 hours. We took quite a long time and dozens of turns just to get to aunt Yong, house. How weird is that? We can't remember the road to the house we stayed in just one year ago!
After parking the car, we went out to have lunch. Daddy odered and did his chanting of us not knowing how to speak in dialect... When we were tasting the food, aunt Yong came to say hi and went back home first as the kids were tired after going out.
When we went back, everyone was tired out and some just drop down and slept soundly.
In the evening, we went to the new book store, Popular. My dad and I went to search for reference books because I complained that the text books were just not enough. We spent maybe hours? And finally got at least one book for each SPM subject. Only until we were going to the counters that I saw that the books that we were going to buy was as heavy as the earth itself...well maybe too exagerating... But it really is heavy. When the girl at the counter was scanning the price tags, I saw each and every one of the prices that came up on the machine.....it's going to be a very large amount, I thought. The total came out after 11 scans...RM 196.00... O MY GOD!! And the scariest part was that my dad was willing to buy all of it for me...and suddenly, those pile of books were on my head, but not in the form of books...in the form of stress, not in the form of atmospheric pressure. "What am I going to do? He's going to be expecting distinctions! O dear..."
We went home after that and have the dinner that aunt Yong prepared. Mummy and daddy went out to buy a few stuff like toothpaste, shampoo......
I can't remember when did I slept...
"Hello pillow, what time did my heavy head started pressing you down into a pizza?"

After The Second Monthly Exam... ...
Exam started from 18th (Tuesday) and ended on 20th August.
Somehow, I'm not worried about the scores that I'll be getting after the holidays. But I have a feeling that this won't be one of my better results because I only started studying three days before this exam. I can't remember why I didn't have the urge to study, especially for an exam. Well, there is a secret reason... ...
Anyway, I'll be having my holidays and the schoolwork that were piled up before the exam. I was planning to go get a job or something but it can't be done, such a pity. I was hoping to go and have an experience of standing for maybe 5 hours or more. Besides, I do have a lot of work at home, the usual chores and another "job" specially available during the holidays. That is... ... looking after my two younger siblings. They are the best agents at doing secret missions and investigations. My job is to sabotage their missions and stop the house from being a target of a bomb from some headquarter.
I'm still thinking of doing something crazy for my holiday, hope I have some ideas before tomorrow... ...
