Different Saturday?

Yesterday, the school announced that today will be having c0-curriculum activities. But, little did we know, we weren't here for the activities. Only yesterday night that I was told that they will be having a clean up, with a title "Gotong-royong Perdana" hehehe... Anyway, the teacher announced the places to be cleaned and the people that will be doing it. I don't know why, but our class was not mentioned...so my friends and I were going to try and blend into one of the groups. Before we actually did, the teacher in charge of Koperasi told my friends that they've got things to do ('cause they were members, but I wasn't). I followed after making sure that I won't be scolded or anything :P.

We were to wipe off the dust from the racks and shelves. There were also people, including the tallest one wiping the fluorescent lights and the fans. I stayed below and tried to help, even thou I was kinda umm..... very clumsy and allergic to dust (T_T)

When the cleaning was going on, unnie finished her class and came in^^. But she was busy...hehe...and maybe gloomy(?) She was writing stuff on the mini whiteboard and then she came to the shelves to help out.

The teacher told us to get the curtains down so that they can be cleaned. After taking down, the wires need to be taken out and complications came. There was a hook and it took us a very long time and a little frustration before we could seperate them from the curtains.

After the cleaning, most of the students went out or home. I was still inside playing around, sitting here and there, because it'll be a bit boring to go home early and Ting Ting and unnie was still busy.

At about 11 something (near to 12 noon) only I walked out of the school. I saw my brother who said he was waiting for such a long time...(hehe good^^) Then I walked at a faster pace because he was walking with another person.

When we reached home, I have my lunch (chicken rice), took a nap, a shower, and to tuition......

Last Day...

Tuesday was the day of the drama competition...district level!!!

It was kinda of the weirdest competition day you can ever get.

Well in the morning, the truck came to take the platforms that we were going to use for the drama. Then, only then, we found out that the platforms need to be taken apart because the truck was too small.

After that, makeup needed to be done. Well, let's just say, things weren't going well and the teacher was kinda....pissed off. She left us there standing...

Soon, we all packed up and go to our transport, which was a van. It fitted 11 students (actually more like cramped) and 4 students were to go by the teacher's car (they need to take makeup kit too, because there wasn't enough).

We were on our way to the school in Kota Masai...... Even thou the van was cramped and the sun was shining and maybe cooking us up, we were well... consider it talking and making fun of each other, listening to songs from the phones, some went into their character mode... To me, it was just lovely^^ Then, before we could reach the school within minutes, the van broke down!!! Haha... It took them some time and we were off again.

When we reached the school, we found out that the platforms were sent to a different location (there were two halls in the area!!!) The problem was solved soon (whew...)

At around 12 (I think) the hosts started the competition. We were the fourth group out of seven group. We were having weird stuff to sort out too. The platforms were taken from like all sides of the stages, different from the one we did during practice which was only by the left door. But the performance...if I were to compare with the others, well it's like the trainer said, our drama was a non-stop and the other schools had to pause between scenes to change the settings.

After the performances, it was time for the results. They gave participation certificates for four schools. We didn't know they would announce the result after that. The third place, then the second place was the school that beat us in the zone level. When the second place was announced, our school screamed, I don't know why, maybe the excitement rushing through our veins needed to come out and chose our mouths?? Anyway, they announced the title of the drama for the first place and...WE WON!!! Everyone, no matter boy or girl from our school screamed!! And screamed and screamed and...... Everyone of us couldn't believe it. Seeing them so happy...my vision got blurred hehehe....(don't scold me...)

We got the certs and a very very tall hamper that seperated into half during our "photograph session".

After everyone left, our group still waited in the hall because the van took a long time to contact. We still screamed once in awhile^^

In the van, we teased a specific someone again and again...haha but we were tired and there were moments where the van was very very quiet...

That day had a beautiful ending. It'll be a sweet memory for my last year with my Omma and friends in school.

First Week Of Drama

3 days ago, (Tuesday) was the drama competition for zone level. There were 3 schools participating (zone is a very small place???).

I was also participating, but I didn't do much (sorry.... :P) I saw them practice as they were guided by a professional. To be truthful, I thought that there will never be enough time to get it perfect, the acting, the timing, special effects...

But after a week of really intensive training, it was time for the actors to shine on stage. I must say, I was proud of them. They endured everything and still stood strong. They went on stage and gave their all. They won the hearts of the crowd......

When the results were out...we got second place...but we qualified into the district level^^

Next competition will be on next Tuesday, it'd be a full-packed shedule for everyone... gambate!!!
