Life Of A Saturn's Agent: Help? (2)

As the newly promoted lab director, Phie had lots to do. So many paperwork, so many meetings, so many things... the labs need to be kept at their best, substances all in stock, kept in proper containers, checked and labelled. It was a hectic life he now has, yet he was happy. No more lessons, no more assignment reports, in fact, he's been less cheeky these days. The best thing? Djie, a.k.a the discipline officer is not looking for him anymore. Somehow, the lab director position gave him this feeling that he has to be a responsible person as well as a mature one.

"Why didn't I think of that in the first place..." Djie sighed from outside the lab. Phie was now double checking the lists of new chemicals that were brought into the labs. He was so absorbed in his work that he didn't notice Djie standing just a few feet away.

Djie's phone vibrated. It was a reminder for him to go and have a surprise check at the trainees' dorms. He left the lab area with a small smile, contented that this 4-year trainee had found his place here.

It was a few minutes before lunch break will be over. Phie stretched himself after finally checking the last box of chemicals and storing them. He sat there, feeling very happy of his efficiency today. He had scanned through products from 2 different companies, the fastest record he's had within his time as a lab director.

As he was sitting in his big chair and relaxing himself, he heard people talking. The voices getting nearer and nearer. He ignored it since the lab wasn't scheduled to be in use today. But as the voices became louder, his heart beat became faster.

"Something's not right..." He sighed as he dragged his body to the doorway.

"... and you know, it really took me a lot of effort..." A girl's voice echoed.

"No..." He mentally said. His worst nightmare. He scurried back to his table and tidied the place up as fast as he can.

He took his belongings and got out of the lab. He took out his keys and with fumbling fingers, try to lock it.

"Hello Phie!" The girl greeted him, making him drop his keys.

"Hi... Triel." He smiled, trying to suppress his nervous expression.

"Sorry if I scared you." Triel said and picked up the keys for him.

"No, no. I'm alright. Who's your friend?" Phie asked of the level one agent beside Triel as he took the keys from her.

"She's Chaehyun. Phie, can we use the lab today? I have an assignment I must do." Triel said with the most pleading expression she could make.

"I'm sorry. I have to uhh... I have something urgent. Sorry." Phie said as he pushed the key into the lock.

"Please? I promise I won't do anything funny. I promise I'll be careful. Everything will be in the same order as you put them." Triel tried persuading him.

"I really can't. Maybe next time. I have to go now. Bye." Phie practically dashed off after he made sure he locked the door.

He never wanted the trainee to be near his lab within a ten feet radar. The last time she was in a lesson, she made this exploding purple candy that made the whole lab messy. The test tubes and containers, beakers... anything glass-made in that lab were destroyed. It took him a full three days to confirm the lab wasn't radioactive and another 5 days to clean up everything. That incident really made him phobic towards Triel.
