Life Of A Saturn's Agent: Who?

"Who's Ellie?" I said aloud unconsciously. Standing in the middle of the office area, I searched directionless for a stranger who I've never met.

Now how am I going to find a stranger in here, with no picture or profile whatsoever? Taylb said that she'll be my partner for this mission....

"Triel, your mission file is here. There will be another probational agent with you. You will be working with a partner, Ellie." Taylb gave me a green color folder which I opened immediately. It was full of papers with small wordings...

"Your schedules will be in there, along with your mission details. Please, Triel, try not to lose it. That's the only file you have." I nodded as he eyed me.

"After you've completed your mission, complete your report and send it to me. Now, is there any question?" Taylb asked after the brief explanation. He took a sip of freshly brewed pink watermelon tea.

I shook my head.

"Now, go find your partner." He shoved me out for the second time in one day.

"What are you doing standing here?" An officer shook me by the shoulder.

Oops... looks like I've been daydreaming again... well, back to reality now.

"Umm... Ma'am,  I'm looking for E... El... Ellie?" I stuttered. Wait, did I get the name rite?

"What is your name?" She asked me as her stare burned through my eyes!

"I...I'm Triel?" I was unsure of my name?? Seriously? I'm now finally an agent and I can't say my name... great... what a great start Triel.

"Triel... You're from Taylb?" She asked me, her eyes not looking anywhere else but at me.

"Come, follow me." She said without a change in expression. By any chance, is she a robot??

She walked at a fast pace and I was having a hard time catching up. She led me into an office and told me to sit down. On the way in I managed to get a glimpse at the door with her name, Jloi.

"Ellie will be coming in awhile. I'm Jloi, officer of the management here, as well as Ellie's officer." She introduced herself and shook hands with me.

"Do you want any pink tea?" She asked me as I smiled.

"Looks like it's a yes." She said and poured a cup for me before I could answer.

"Ma'am?" A knock on the door followed by a voice came from outside the office.

"Chaehyun!!!" I knocked on her door, too eager to wait. I called again, much louder than before.

"What..." The door open and she was standing there, she... looked messy?

"Are you okay?" I asked as I followed her into the house.

"I was sleeping... Then I heard you making noises... What's so urgent?" She mumbled and ended with a big yawn.

"I got promoted! I'm an agent! Well, not really an agent. Like a probational agent. You know, like not as in a real agent but a new agent, like a new, new agent. I'm an agent! I mean, a probational agent and the officer told me to wait. Can you believe it? I'm an agent now! And I'm going to have my first mission later! Today! I'm an agent! I mean, probational agent! ..." I jumped around like I'm on a trampoline.

"Triel, Triel? Calm down!! Triel!" Chaehyun grabbed my shoulders to stop me from bouncing anymore.

"I'm sooo happy! I'm an agent!" I said once again.

"Triel, first of all, congratulations!" Chaehyun gave me a big tight hug, leaving me breathless.

After the hug, she let go of me and went to the bathroom. Wondering what is she up to, I followed behind her.

"Triel, I have to tidy myself a bit. I am a mess now. Can you wait outside?" Chaehyun told me as I followed her into the bathroom.

"Okay." I skipped outside leaving the bathroom as I heard her chuckle.

"Triel, you want any pink tea?" Chaehyun asked me as she sat beside me.

"Yes please!" I replied her excitedly. I haven't had pink tea in a few weeks now. You see, pink tea is very hard to get around here. They usually sell purple tea or lava tea. Pink tea is still a new product in Saturn but it's my favorite tea ever!

"You and your pink tea obsession." Chaehyun shook her head as I gave her a pout, protesting her statement.

"Triel, so who promoted you as an agent?" Chaehyun asked me as I sipped the tea.

"Taylb. He told me to see him at the office just now. I'm in a program, being a probational agent, not an actual agent yet. I'm going for my first mission once he's done with the information processing." I just couldn't change that smile that's been on my face since I got here. I'm just too excited!

"Triel, that's good news. Now remember to be serious about it. I know you love doing experiments, but try not to go around making explosions outside of this place?" Chaehyun advised me while her face showed a little worry.

"Okay, I'll be a good agent." I said earnestly.

"I nearly forgot to tell you, I'm going on a trip again. There's another mission." What Chaehyun said made me pout again. She's leaving again? In such a short while?

"Can't you stay a little longer? We haven't go to that park with that fun umbrella ride!" I reminded her about that umbrella ride we said we'd try.

"We'll go there once I come back. Okay?" Chaehyun pinched my cheeks making me giggle.

Chaehyun's going out on a mission again... why so fast?

Life Of A Saturn's Agent: Banned From Lab

"Triel, you are called to the office." The secretary came into the lecture hall and called for me. I took my things and was excused to be taken out of the hall. The secretary looked a bit intimidated... maybe it was because it was a long walk from the office to this lecture hall. Besides, she was wearing diamond made heels... which is not really suitable for walking in the first place.

Once we reached the office area, the secretary pointed to the office door as she went back to her desk. Her helper was taking a call as she looked at the note the helper was writing. She looks quite strict...

I faced the door, gulping once... it seemed a lot gigantic than the last time I was here. I took my time relaxing my heartbeat that was affected by my nervousness.

I knocked the door and went in, "Sir?"

He was talking on the cell phone as he waved his hand, signalling me to come in.

Funny... he seemed happy? I admit, I didn't get to hand in my report about carbonated vegetables. I sighed even more thinking about Phie banning me from the lab...

 "Triel." The officer called me as I was kicked out of my mind into the real world.

 "Y..Yes?!" I said a little louder than expected.

"I received the list of trainees from the head class. It seems that you did not hand in this time's report... why?" Taylb, a.k.a "the officer" flipped through the trainee name list.

"I... I was banned from the lab." I said... feeling a tad of fear.

He shook his head as I prepared myself for a long scolding from him.

However... next thing I heard was a chuckled, not a dark and scary one, but a light and nice one.

"Triel... Triel... Triel..." He laughed as I got more confused. What is so funny about being banned from the lab?

"Sir... I can't seem to register what am I doing here..." I said while staring as he laughed more.

"You, trainee, Triel... has been offered a fast track. You are going to be an agent on probation." Taylb said with the authority tone.

"Huh?" I wasn't sure if I heard properly, an agent?? Chaehyun did complain that I tend to hear stuff people don't say.

"You are a probational agent now. We are now having a new program, selecting some trainees to go on field as probational agents. You will be in our first batch. You could say that you're being promoted in a way." Taylb smiled as I gave him a blank look.

"Are you sure?" I asked to be absolutely sure that I have no hearing problems.

"Yes. I'll be assigning your first mission. Meet me a few hours later when I call you. Be sure to not be late." Taylb said and later shoved me out of the office as I was too stunned to move at all.

Life Of A Saturn's Agent: An Appointment

"We'll try next time, alright?" Chaehyun comforted Triel as they left the lab area.

"Okay..." Triel sighed, not because she can't use the lab, but because the assignment can't be completed. The deadline is just a few days away too. She had been waiting for a day where she can step into the lab again, of course, with Chaehyun's help.

Chaehyun suddenly stopped walking.

"Chaehyun?" Triel looked at her weirdly.

"Chaehyun?" Triel shook her which made her come back from whatever trance she had.

"I'm okay. I just remembered I have an appointment. Why don't you go ahead first?" Chaehyun ruffled Triel's hair and left quickly.

"Okay. Bye Chaehyun!" Triel waved excitedly.

"Now, what should I do?" Triel sat in the middle of the corridor and started brainstorming.

"I'm sorry sir." Chaehyun apologized as she was invited to enter the office. Taylb motioned her to sit down and got her a cup of coffee.

"How was your last mission?" Taylb asked after he sipped his cup of coffee.

"It was good. The operation went smoothly." Chaehyun smiled.

However, Taylb wasn't in the same mood. he was pacing around the office. Chaehyun realized that he had this worry in his eyes.

"Umm sir, if you don't mind, is something wrong?" Chaehyun daringly asked. That made Taylb stopped in his tracks.

A smile formed on his face.

"Looks like being a field agent made you improve. Good job, good job indeed." Taylb praised Chaehyun, giving her a pat on the back.

"Anyway, there's another assignment. I need you to go to this diamond planet. There seems to be some problem with their water treatment plant. Go check it out and give me an update." Taylb explained a new case and handed a file to Chaehyun.

"Yes, sir." Chaehyun nodded while flipping the file, going through the basic info.

"Another thing. Just a heads up, this planet is quite dangerous. Do not get cut by the diamond ground. Diamond cuts can be fatal." Taylb said in a serious tone.

Chaehyun nodded.

"If there's nothing else, you may be dismissed. Good luck, agent."

Chaehyun nodded and left the office.

"Another mission..."
