Essay/Story 004: Couple?

She stood in the middle of the crowd, looking around. She was looking for a person. Suddenly, she saw a familiar face. He saw her too. Step by step, he walked towards her. They were only centimeters apart. They felt each other's breath inside the air-conditioned hall. Both looked into the other's eyes. She couldn't say anything. They hugged each other tightly. At the public library, the girl was sitting alone, reading the new book that was on the display shelf. A shadow passed by her. She looked up to see a boy, basketball in one hand and a "Biography of William Shakespeare" in the other. Stuttering a bit, he asked, "Hi, just wondering, are you borrowing that book?" "Secret." Jeff made an I-really-want-to-know face. "Please?" he asked. Amelia giggled at his actions and answered that it was her book list. Before Jeff could ask more questions, Amelia's mother parked in front of the library. Amelia packed up her bag, getting ready to leave.

"Amelia..."
She turned around.
"D...do you want to have coffee? I mean, if you're not too busy reading."
She nodded, replying,"This Friday, 4pm?
"Yea" he said while......

**I believe I will stop this for now. Can't continue it.**
